Driving in the desert about 10km from Liwa

After a hard year of studying at the HCT I and my friend Khalid decided to have a long vacation in Liwa. After packing our things and saying good bye our families we started our trip from Abu Dhabi.

When we reached Al khatem desert we started drifting and having some fun. We found some people doing the same thing so we stayed with them. In the evening they invited as to have dinner with them so we accepted. Then we went back to the road and continued our trip. When we were about 10k from Liwa suddenly the car broke down. i tried to call the cops but there was no signal, Khalid tried to fix the car but he couldn’t. Then I had a plan which was one of as go to find any help from the town and the other to wait for any car to pass. I’m the one who went to the town and Khalid stayed in the car. The road was bumpy and long. After all I reached the police station and told them the story; they immediately went to rescue Khalid because that area was known to have thieves. But thanks to God we found him fine. The police took my car to the garage.

At the end, we stayed in the Liwa hotel and in the morning we got my car from the garage and it was fixed. And we contained our trip.

The old man

Last week when I was going back to home. After spending my time with my friend in Abu Dhabi I had an incident.

When me and my friend Khalid reached Khaldia Street. We saw an old man drinking and we wanted to see where he was heading for because he seemed sick and tired. Suddenly, he fell in the street and he started coughing blood. Khalid rushed to the man to see what happened for him while I was calling the ambulance. Khalid searched for his wallet to find something to identify him, so we can call to some of his family. Then the ambulance came and took the old man to the hospital.

At the end, we visited the old man and asked the doctor about his condition. The doctor told as that the old man has cancer in his kidney and he has a few days to live. The doctor was afraid to tell the old man the bad news, so we told him. He accepted the bad news and he decided to visit his lovers and family to spend his left time with them.

Petrol Station

At the present time, the petrol is the main thing to make some actions, products and generators. Discovering petrol made many changes. In this easy I will show the stages from the discovery of oil to the sale petrol in the filling station.

First, the oil is located under the ground in the desert and in the sea. Next the oil is pumped through pipelines and moved to refineries such as Um Al Nar and Ruwais. After that it is stored in huge tanks in a special place. Than it is refined into different products, including patrol. After that the petrol stored in vast tanks. Next it is transport it to petrol stations by special ADNOK trucks. Than it is stored in underground tanks. Finally, it is pumped into cans tanks when people can put it in their cars.

In conclusion, it is very important to store and save the petrol. Now you will know the stages from the discovery of oil to the sale in the filling stations.

Accident Desert

One day I was camping in Alwathba desert in Abu Dhabi with my friends. I was with my two uncles playing football there and suddenly we heard somebody shouting and calling “help help”. He said he had been in an accident involving two cars and some camels. I was very surprised and the accident was in the middle of the desert close to where I was camping.

The accident was very frightening and when I heard somebody calling “help” I was really shocked because we had been enjoying ourselves. The two cars were a write off and some of the camels were injured and some were fine. The guys who were driving the cars were injured too. The doors of one of the two cars were locked and we couldn’t open it because it was stuck called so the police and the ambulance to help them. Finally they felt good and they stayed with us after I invited them

In the end we helped the drivers and cooked camel meat for lunch. It was fantastic day except for the accident but we did many useful things and we helped our friends the drivers who will never forget that day.

Canned Fish

Nowadays, many people like to eat canned food because it can be saved for a long time.

First, the fish is delivered to the cannery which is a place of a factory where food is canned. After that it is cleaned of any dirty or bacteria that might affect our health. Next it is washed carefully and this is an important thing to do. In addition, salt is added to prevent the growth of micro-organisms. After that, it is washed again to be cleaner and safe. Than after all these steps, it is canned to avoid spoiling. The next step is the mixture of oil and preservatives is added. One important thing is the can of fish is sterilized for an hour. The final step is the cans are stored until they will be ready to the super market.

All in all, is very important to know how to can fish. Finally if you do the above steps you will know how to can fish.

How to get a Driving license

Nowadays, a driving license is very important to have. There are many steps to get a driving license. In this essay i will show you steps involved in getting a diving license.


First, I must be 18 and over years old. Second, go to the police department to open a file and take your father with you. After that, study the theory for the traffic rules. Next , do the test for the traffic rules and if you fail you do it again , you must have 28/35 to pass. Than, do the practical test with the police, but before that everyone should take the eye test.

In conclusion , I think it's important to get a diving license, and these are steps to get one.

UAE in the Past and Now

The UAE has changed enormously over the last 40 years. This has been because of the discovery of oil. This essay will discuss the differences between the UAE then and now.

Many years age people did not have as much wealth as they do now. They did not have many cars because in the past everything was not available and people did not have much money as they do now. There was not much wealth before oil. People in the past used camels for their traveling and to go anywhere took a long time. In addition people did not have large houses as we have now. Then, with the education there were no colleges or universities. Students went to the mosques to study. There are not many hospitals. For example, doctors were not available everywhere and in the past most people used traditional medicines.

On the other hand if we look at the UAE now it has developed so much that it is almost unrecognizable. Oil was discovered and the wealth and GDP of the country changed. People have a lot of families now and have many cars. In addition, we have highly paid jobs with good salaries. Also , there are large villas. For example my uncle’s house is a big villa and there are 4 floors and 20 rooms, so there are huge changes. In addition, there are many colleges, university and schools that have a modern curriculum with subjects like mathematics, science, English and IT. There are many good hospitals such as Zayed military hospital and Khalifa hospital with many good doctors.

To sum up I think the UAE now is better than what it was before. So life has become more comfortable and safe.

How to book a holiday

Nowadays everybody hopes to travel in their holiday and enjoy his vacation with his family or with his friends. In this essay I will explain how to book a holiday.

There are many things we should do it before going on holiday, so the steps must be followed carefully to have fun on the holiday. First, we should make decision. So we identify the date to book our holiday, also the place and the budget. After that we decide the place that we want to book the holiday. Usually I want to go with my friends to have more fun that is what I think. So we visit with a travel agent to book the holiday. Then we tell them the dates. The agent will book for the ticket on the airline and buy it. Then, we must get a visa and apply at the embassy. Make sure your passport is valid.

Preparing for a desert trip

Going to the desert is a lot of fun. To enjoy it you must prepare well and make a good plan. In this essay I will discuss what you need to do.

First, I need to make a good plan of what I am going to do in the desert and for everything to take. Second, bring or buy the things that I need in the desert such as sleep bags, coal, joasting-jack, wood and water. Next, I need a 4 wheel car for the desert such as Land Crouser or Nissan safari. Then I collect my best friends for this trip because more friends are more fun. After that, the interesting thing to do is bring a motorbike to ride in the desert. Finally the important thing is to bring some food and drinks for this trip such as tea, coffee and meat for piecemeal.

In summary, if you follow these steps you will have a nice day and have a fun also more interesting.

UAE and Oman

There are many countries in the Gulf region, the UAE and Oman are two of them. They are neighbors with many similarities and some differences. This essay will talk about the similarities and differences between UAE and Oman.

If we look at the similarities we see that both have the same language which is Arabic. Another similarity is they are situated on the Arabian Gulf also they are in the GCC. In addition, they have the same religion which is Islam. They have similar governments with ruling families. For example in the UAE the ruling family is the Al Nahyans and in Oman it is the Al Bosidy. The landscape is similar too. There are wadis, sandy deserts, mountains, sebkhas and gravel plains, so the weather is almost same in both countries because of this.

On the other hand there are differences between these counties too. The most important difference is the population. In the UAE the population is proximately 4 million while Oman is around 2.5 million. Another difference is the economy. The UAE has a lot of oil whereas Oman has agriculture. A final difference is the size of the countries. In the UAE is 220,000 square miles while Oman is three times the size of the UAE.

In conclusion, in my opinion we can see that the UAE is better because the differences outweigh the similarities. The population is bigger and the economy is much better because of the oil. We have better shops, hotels, streets, roads and buildings.
